A Word From Our Co-Founder, Nancy Parker

Many years ago I remember reading in a magazine comments from a notable makeup artist that proclaimed, "Eyebrows can make or break your look; they are the most ignored  feature on most women."  I respected the artist enormously but at the time I couldn't quite understand his comments. Nonetheless, something inside me told me he was right. 

My own wretched case led me down a myriad of paths although some were downright dangerous. The result of one such attempt ended with the "expert"  telling me her improvement was about the best I could hope for.  Not completely satisfied, I  decided to keep trying. I spotted a woman in a magazine I thought was very beautiful. She had full and lovely brows and I wondered if I could get those on myself. And why not? Using stencils and brow powder, I was able to pull it off.  What I wasn't prepared for was how significant a change it made to my own appearance.  That artist I respected so much had been right all along; it made an enormous difference.

I now knew it worked but I still wasn't sure why. I researched, studied and analyzed and, in the end, it all started making sense. I have shared the results in hopefully a fun and easy to understand way in Beautiful Brows. It answers that nagging question - Why do brows matter so much? Many women have since told me, "Why didn't someone tell me this sooner?"! It is so evident from photos of Hollywood celebrities that this was a well known beauty secret among the select few! My site offers a range of products that can help many women achieve the best brow look for them (and, hopefully, have some fun too!).
