Creating an Arch
Lots of Brow hair

An arch was created below by:

  •  pulling hair (moistened by hair spray sprayed on the brush) through a stencil hole - like a cookie mould.
  •  coloring the skin at the peak  creates the illusion of a finished high arch. We're using brow powder where Mother Nature didn't supply brow hair!

Note in this montage how  Sela Ward reshapes her brows. They vary from thick and soft angled, to thin and angled.

Some Tips & Tricks
(click here to go to a bit of advice)

How To: Flat to angled & high arched

Note the before

Tools: The eyebrowz brow comb/brush combo,
Directions: Place water on the comb. Brush the water through the brow hair ensuring the hair gets wet. This will make the hair more manageable.

Tools: An eyebrowz stencil (in this case in shape Ma#3). Notice the eyebrowz stencil touch holder used to keep the stencil in position, nylon powder brush, eyebrowz powder.
Directions: Lay the stencil down over the brow hair. Brush all the brow hair through the stencil hole. Lift the stencil up to pull in hairs from the top and bottom of the eyebrow, using the eyebrowz brush/comb. Using the stiff angled, brush powder on brow hair back towards the tail of the brow. Powder was applied over the entire brow but spots lacking in any brow hair were stroked a few times with powder to ensure the extension was achieved. In this case the peak of the brow could not be covered by combing brow hair to cover it, so the brow powder created the color here.

Eyebrowz brow comb/brush combo , extra firm hair spray
Directions: extra hold hair spray was sprayed on the comb side of the comb brush. The comb/ brush was then combed through the brow and the spray allowed to dry.

Tools: Tweezerman slant tip tweezers
Directions:  The stencil was removed. The hairs not covered in powder were easy to spot. They could have been left in and the effect would still largely have been achieved. Approximately 10 hairs were tweezed.
An alternate could have been to lightly cover the hair with the white outliner stick then apply foundation to blend the area into the color of the skin.
Another popular alternate is to use our touch n'brow razors.

Basic Shape Sketch

  • Some Tips & Tricks
  • Recreating your brow shape is not as hard as you may think. It takes a bit of practise but it is well worth the effort (as many beauties already know).

  • If you are starting from little brow hair it is as simple as placing the stencil shape over your existing brows and filling in with powder. Go lightly at first filling in only the spots with powder that have no hair underneath.

  • In most cases, we recommend new brows that are somewhat close to the starting brow. In this case, however,  we went from a flat brow to a high arch but could not make the stretch without some tweezing (although not a lot).
