Brow Extensions

A flat shape (from a soft angled shape) was created below by:

  •  pulling hair (moistened by hair spray sprayed on the brush) through a stencil hole - like a cookie mould.
  •  coloring the skin below the arch  creates the illusion of a flat bottom line. We're using brow powder where Mother Nature didn't supply brow hair!

For Thick  Brows - A typical extension

How To

Note the before

Tools: The eyebrowz brow comb/brush combo.
Directions: Remove all cosmetics from the brow, and brush or comb out the brow hair. Dampen the brow hair.

Tools:   An eyebrow stencil in a flat shape. Optional eyebrowz stencil touch holder to help hold the stencil in position.
Directions: Lay the stencil down over the brow hair.  Slightly lifting the stencil comb all hairs above and outside the stencil area into the stencil hole. The black arrow points to the hairs that now are flattened to go "down".

Tools: Eyebrowz brow comb/brush combo, extra firm hair spray, eyebrowz powder and nylon powder brush
Directions:  Spray the brow brush with hair spray. Brush brow hair back towards the tail of the brow. Hair at the front of the brow can be brushed up. Hair spray was given a couple of minutes to dry. Powder was then used to fill in the bald areas of the brow (on the bottom) - again using the stencil as a guide. The powder was brushed  slightly over the brow hair to create continuity of color. This ensured no gap between the new bottom edge of the brow and the brow hair.

  • hair at the front is brushed up

  • hair in the middle is brushed back

  • hair along the top is brushed down

  • powder has filled in the bottom section.

Basic Shape Sketch

  • Some Tips & Tricks
  • Recreating your brow shape is not as hard as you may think. It takes a bit of practise but it is well worth the effort (as many beauties already know).

  • If you are starting from little brow hair it is as simple as placing the stencil shape over your existing brows and filling in with powder.

  • In all cases, we selected new brows that were one step away only from the starting brow. For example, we went from moderate arch to flat, from moderate arch to high arch. We did not try to go to a high arch from a flat brow. We also went from medium thickness to thick and thin. We did not try ultrathin. Thick to ultrathin, for example, would have been too far a stretch without removing hair.

  • We used a brow powder color similar to the hair color. This makes it as hard as possible for anyone to tell where the hair line ends and new brow area begins.

  • If your brow hair is very long consider using a beard trimmer to trim your hairs to a good length - this will prevent you from trimming them too short where they become unmanageable
